It's a busy place....here's why.....it's amazing!! All food made fresh with fresh ingrediants, you can tell they care about providing the best food. The best pizza ever, looking forwards to coming back for the pasta dishes!

Went twice and food was amazing. Currently my favourite place in Leicester. Not a pizza person but the pizza there was so fresh and nice. Took some time for the chef to prepare the food but it was really worth the waiting! The short hair lady and the girl staff were very friendly and helpful. Reasonable price considering the food portion was decent.

We were looking for a nice atmospheric restaurant and had heard good things about Maurizio's. This place absolutely did not disappoint, the food was superb! Lasagne, pizza with forest mushrooms + the Baba dessert, all gorgeous. The best Italian food in Leicester by far. I also liked the ambiance of the restaurant, cozy and welcoming with great service.

Went for a meal on Saturday to celebrate our anniversary and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. • We were warmly greeted by Olga, who welcomed us with a big smile and wished us a happy anniversary as she showed us to our table. • Olga was jolly, chatty and genuinely interested in making our evening special. She recommended dishes tailored to our tastes and checked in regularly to make sure everything was perfect. • As a lovely touch, she even arranged for our pizza to be made in a heart shape. Brilliant attention to detail. Food was exceptional: we had the David pizza, fries, olives and bruschetta for two. Everything was fresh and full of flavour. Highly recommend booking in advance, as we saw several people turned away because it was fully booked. Outstanding service and superb food. Olga is an absolute asset to Maurizio. We’ll definitely be back!

Fantastic food and very nice staff. I was there with a friend. She had Spaghetti Carbonara, I had Tagliatelle Nely. Both dishes were freshly prepared and tasted great! For dessert we had profiteroles and baba. Baba was delicious.
